The Young Peoples’ Project is a company limited by guarantee not for profit that has been developed since 1994 and became incorporated in June 2003 and a registered charity in 2005. It fulfils its constitutional aims of promoting the benefit of young people through support and access to education for young parents through the provision of weekly sessions both informal and formal. The project runs a variety of accredited training programmes. It adheres to Government targets to ensure young people who are not engaged in employment, education or training (NEET) have access to opportunities to progress.

The YPP works with a wide variety of other agencies to ensure there is holistic approach to the development and progression of the young people. The YPP provides a wide variety of formal and informal training, support from key-workers, and an OFSTED registered nursery to enable young people to access services.
